Food and non-food items donated by businesses:
Food and non-food items that are donated to Olio by businesses are not for resale.
Resale of these items by volunteers or by users will result in a suspension from the Food Waste Hero Programme.
Resale of these items jeopardises our relationship with the business donating the products and will mean that these items will no longer be made available to Olioers in the future.
Food and non-food obtained from Olio users:
We do not explicitly prohibit the resale of items that you collect from regular users on Olio (i.e. not from Food Waste Heroes).
Therefore, if you are adding an item and specifically do not want the item to be resold, we recommend stating “not for resale” in the description.
