If you haven’t listed food 1.5 hours after your collection time, you’ll get a message from Olio’s Little Helper in squad chat.
Tap the button that applies:
✅ Yes, there was food
❌ No food on arrival
🚫 I didn’t go
Your response is shared with your squad and Olio HQ.
You have 15 hours to respond to this message or start listing items against the collection slot to avoid the collection being flagged as a missed collection.
⚠️ What happens if I don't respond?
If you don’t reply or list items, all your future slots will be removed.
Repeated missed collections (or repeatedly clicking “Yes” without listing) can lead to suspension from the FWH programme.
How long do I have to respond?
You have 15 hours to reply or list items before the system flags it as a missed collection.
What happens if I don’t respond to Olio’s Little Helper?
If you don’t reply or list items, all of your future slots will be removed, and you will have a Missed Collection on your account.
What happens if I repeatedly don’t respond, or repeatedly click ‘Yes’ but don’t list items?
Repeated missed collections or incorrect responses may result in suspension from the FWH programme.
What about if the slot was confirmed, but no food was available in-store?
If no food was available at the store, tap No food on arrival.
What about if the slot was confirmed, but I didn’t go?
If you missed your collection, tap I didn’t go.
What about if the store did not confirm the slot?
If the store didn’t confirm food was available, you don’t need to take any action.
Do I still need to message the Squad Captain or in squad chat if I missed a collection?
No. Your response through Olio’s Little Helper is enough. It is visible to the squad and to Olio HQ.
Will my Squad Captain be notified if I miss a collection?
Yes. Squad Captains see the Olio’s Little Helper messages in squad chat.
What if I disagree with a missed collection flag on my account?
Raise the issue using the FWH Issue Form (found in the Volunteer Hub under My Collections).
How do I know if a collection has been marked as missed?
You’ll see a notification in the Volunteer Hub, and your squad will also see the record in chat.
What happens if I miss multiple collections?
If you miss collections repeatedly, you will be suspended from the programme.
Does this need to be reported via Issue Report Form>
You don’t need to manually report missed collections, the system records this automatically.
