Reporting on OLIO

Reports from OLIO users help us to identify and resolve things that aren't right. When something gets reported to OLIO, it may be automatically taken down, and/or we may review it and remove anything that goes against our Acceptable Use Policy.

You can click the flag ðŸ³ï¸ on any content (or 3 dots on a message) to send a report to OLIO. We will review the content and take action if necessary.

 

Report a user

  • If someone has been unreliable, please give them a rating or block them (see below):
  • If they have behaved unacceptably in a message or have made inappropriate listings, please report that message or listing (see below).
  • To report a serious situation, please click "Need more help?" to provide us with further information.

 

Report a message

  • Click the three horizontal dots '⋯' on the message you'd like to report. 
  • Choose from the number of options shown to enable us to understand what your report is about, and take the appropriate action.

 

Report a listing

  • Click the flag ðŸ³ï¸ at the top of the listing detail page.
  • Choose from the number of options shown to enable us to understand what your report is about, and take the appropriate action.

 

Report a use by date infringement 

  • Tap the flag ðŸ³ï¸ at the top of the listing.
  • 1️⃣ If you see someone sharing past the use by choose ➡️ ‘’Out of date’’.
    2️⃣ If you believe someone is hiding the use by date, etc choose ➡️ ‘’other’’.

 

Report a Forum post or comment

  • Click the flag ðŸ³ï¸ at the top of the post/comment.
  • Report anything that goes against our Forum Guidelines.


Block a user

  • Click the flag ðŸ³ï¸ at the top of the screen on the profile of the user you'd like to block.
  • Select 'Block'.
  • Read more about how OLIO blocks users.
  • If you still need to report a user, please find the message that you would like to report and follow the steps below to report a message.

  • Visit our live status page to check for known issues
  • Troubleshoot your device by 
    1. Logging out and back in
    2. Clearing your device cache/cookies
    3. Updating your app to the latest version
