Volunteer with Olio

Since 2015, we have grown to a huge network of millions of people all over the world battling the enormous issue of food waste! Food waste is one of the top three biggest ways people can impact on the climate crisis. We are beyond amazed and grateful to have an incredible community of over 75,000 volunteers supporting Olio's mission by spreading the word, growing the movement and collecting waste food from businesses to redistribute locally and avoid needless waste.

How can I volunteer with Olio? 

You can share and spread the Olio mission as a Digital Ambassador in minutes.

Spread the word locally by handing out flyers in your neighbourhood, as a Community Hero, to get more people on Olio. 

Collect and share food from local businesses as a Food Waste Hero for an hour or two a week. 

I'm already a volunteer, how do I check my collection slots? 

If you're an existing volunteer, visit the  Volunteer Hub, which is also available in the menu bar of the Olio app, just scroll to the bottom.
